Operated on various terrains
One of the outstanding features of Chinese high-speed railway is that the train can run on various terrains, braving various climates.
For instance, Harbin-Dalian high-speed railway, the world's first high-speed railway operated at high latitudes and low temperatures, has been in service for nearly 5 years.
The 653km-long round-island high-speed railway in South China's Hainan province is also the first one of its kind in the world.
