Xi calls for new methods to improve economic macro-regulation

BEIJING - Xi Jinping called Wednesday for developing new methods to improve macro-regulation by better coordinating fiscal, monetary, industrial, regional, and other economic policies.
Xi made the remarks in a report to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China at the Great Hall of the People in central Beijing.
To improved macro-regulation, he called for "giving full play to the strategic guidance of national development plans."
