10-year-old boy with brain tumor donates his body

Cao Junming, a 10-year-old boy with brain tumor in Benxi, Liaoning province, said his only wish before he died was to donate his body to help those in need.
He urged his father to sign the donation form when he lost the ability to see and hear due to the disease. He died on Oct 29.
Cao was diagnosed with brain tumor in May 2013 and experienced a relapse at the end of 2016.
The boy's parents decided to respect his choice and signed the registration form on his behalf on March 14, a tough choice for them.
According to Cao's mother, the decision was made by the boy himself, motivated by the kindness of a man who once helped Cao find his parents when he got lost. Cao took the man as a model to do good deeds since then.
Cao's body was sent to the General Hospital of Shenyang Military for medical research according to his will, making him the youngest body donor in Benxi.
