Overload blamed for fatal minibus-truck collision

WUHAN - Initial investigation found the minibus involved in a fatal accident Saturday was overloaded, authorities in central China's Hubei province said Sunday.
Ten people were killed and one was injured after the minibus crashed head-on into a heavy truck around 1 pm Saturday on a national highway stretch in Yangxin county, according to local police.
The police said 11 people were aboard the seven-seat minibus registered in Jiangxi Province, 60 percent overloaded, when the accident happened.
Ten died and the injured is receiving treatment in a local hospital with no life dangers.
The 11 people on the minibus were natives of Ruichang city in Jiangxi.
Further investigation is under way.
