SYDNEY - The two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray was ruled out of the Brisbane International by losing in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 to Daniil Medvedev from Russia.
Murray, 31, took his hip surgery early last year and missed three of the four Grand Slam events in 2018.
He couldn't deal with Medvedev's power in Wednesday's second round match and was knocked out the event in 81 minutes.
