A primary school teacher in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has been suspended for abusing and discriminating against students, the local education bureau said on Tuesday.
The announcement was made after a parent posted a complaint on social media accusing the teacher, Jiang Yufen, of physically abusing students and telling a parent who works at funeral parlor to change job because it makes her uncomfortable.
When the parent turned down her request, Jiang began isolating the parent's daughter in class.
The local education bureau conducted an investigation following the complaint and confirmed the allegations.
