Health improvement in Zhenba county

In Zhenba county, disease is a main cause of poverty. In 2017, it was estimated there were 9,162 people in the county who became poor due to disease.

To solve the problem, the county organized 178 teams consisting of contracted family doctors.

Each team has five doctors and staff members, including one village doctor, one staff member from the village, one town-level doctor, one public health staffer and one county-level doctor.

With the "Health in Zhenba county" app that uses "Internet Plus" to develop a management platform, it becomes more convenient for villagers to see a doctor and learn a "common sense" of health.

Now, the number of villagers who are poor from illness has been reduced to 908. The outpatient rate inside the county has reached 93 percent.
