Cold front continues to chill south China

BEIJING - A cold front will continue to sweep southern region of China in the next two days, bringing plunging temperatures and winds, the national observatory forecast on Monday.
From 8 a.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday, the cold front will cause temperatures to fall by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in parts of regions south of the Yangtze River, south China and Guizhou Province, according to the National Meteorological Center.
The center also forecast light to moderate rain for regions including northwestern and southwestern China in the next three days, and thunderstorms for parts of southwestern China and Hainan island, with parts of provinces of Yunan and Hainan expecting heavy rain.
