In an interview with China Daily on Wednesday, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor said the recent passing of the Hong Kong People's Freedom and Choice Act by the United States House of Representatives is clearly a "blatant intervention into the internal affairs of Hong Kong" and a "blatant display of double standards".
