Imported cherries in Wuxi test positive for COVID

A box of imported cherries in Wuxi, Jiangsu province tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, the CDC of the city's Liangxi district announced on Friday.
The same batch of tested cherries had been delivered to Liangxi, Huishan and Binhu districts. A total of 199 samples had been collected from the three districts, and all tested negative.
The headquarters of virus prevention at Liangxi district has launched epidemiological investigation, quarantine of close contacts and more nucleic acid sampling. The remaining cherries and the environment have been fully disinfected, according to the CDC.
