The Red Cross Society of China said on Wednesday it has donated 200,000 domestically produced COVID-19 vaccines to the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society.

These doses, made by domestic drugmaker Sinopharm, arrived in Bangladesh on Tuesday.

The donation is expected to aid Bangladesh's fight against the novel coronavirus and protect the health of its people.
