Beijing reports a positive case


Beijing reported on Thursday evening one case with positive result of nucleic acid testing for COVID-19 who traveled from Harbin, Heilongjiang province, to the capital on Sunday.
The case staying at a residential community in Haidian district had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in Harbin on Nov 26, according to Haidian center for disease prevention and control on Thursday.
The district has launched the emergency response to start epidemiological investigation. The related control measures are taken in the building where the case stayed. The authority started nucleic acid testing for people in the involved area.
The person, who took the flight CZ6268 from Harbin to Beijing on Sunday, took the nucleic acid testing on Wednesday after receiving the phone call from health officials in Harbin.
