Oil painter Zhang Jun says her works are a calm depiction of another self who is emotional, and who indulges in an intimate world of herself.
The paintings, distinguished with a color scheme of vibrancy and elegance, freeze the instant moments of delights in life, and reflect the most sensitive, private parts of her.
Only Time Can Tell, The Love That Hides Within, an exhibition that ended on Nov 26 in Shanghai, showed Zhang's dozens of paintings in which she created a world of simplicity, peace and dynamics.
