A Chionanthus tree is in full bloom with delicate, white and fragrant flowers at the Family Mansion of Mencius — or Meng Zi (372-289 BC) — in Zoucheng, a county-level city of Jining, Shandong province.
The tree, commonly known as a fringe tree has been standing at the sage's family mansion for more than 300 years, according to local historical records.
