China denies providing weapons to Palestine-Israel conflict zone

On Thursday, the Chinese Defense Ministry denied allegations that China provided weapons or equipment to the Palestine-Israel conflict zone.
Recently there have been some allegations claiming that huge quantities of Chinese-made weapons were used by Hamas in Gaza.
Wu Qian, a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, said at a news conference in Beijing that, since the outbreak of the Palestine-Israel conflict, China has provided Palestine with emergency assistance, including food and medical aid.
But, he emphasized, China has never supplied any weapons or equipment to conflict areas.
Wu stressed that China has always adopted a "cautious and responsible" attitude to military exports, strictly adhering to three principles in its arms export policy.
These principles are contributing to the legitimate self-defense capabilities of the recipient country, not impairing peace, security, and stability in the relevant regions and the world, and not interfering in the internal affairs of the recipient country, he said.
