Exhibition exploring time and culture unveiled in Wuzhen

The School of Sculpture and Public Art of the China Academy of Art, in collaboration with Cultural Wuzhen Co Ltd, is hosting an exhibition titled Layered Growth Rings that opened on Aug 5 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province.
A total of 65 works by 51 artists are featured at the exhibition, including sculptures and installations that explore the accumulation of life experiences and personal sentiments over the course of time, carrying traces of social and cultural changes.
The Wuzhen Granary is an exhibition venue in the water town of Wuzhen. The China Academy of Art and Wuzhen teamed up to renovate the venue from a grain storage facility and opened it to the public in 2017.
The exhibition will run through to Oct 27.
