SCO forum on digital economy set for Tianjin
The 2025 SCO Digital Economy Forum will be held in Tianjin from July 10 to 11, jointly hosted by the National Data Administration and the Tianjin municipal people's government.
With the theme "new bonds in the digital economy, new horizons for cooperation", the event will feature discussions on topics such as the integration of digital and real economies, city-wide digital transformation, digital technology innovation, digital infrastructure development, data ownership and privacy protection, and the development and utilization of data resources.
The event aims to build a collaborative digital economy ecosystem among SCO member states, and to promote practical cooperation across industries, cities, universities, and think tanks.
Government officials, business leaders, scholars, and experts from SCO member countries in the field of digital economy are expected to attend the forum. The event will further deepen practical cooperation between China and other SCO countries in the digital economy and help create a favorable atmosphere and lay the groundwork for outcomes ahead of the upcoming SCO Summit.
