The China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association jointly released the 2025 list of China's top 500 enterprises on Sept 16, with six State-owned enterprises from Gansu making the list once again.

The ranked companies are Jinchuan Group, Gansu Provincial Highway Aviation Tourism Investment Group, Jiugang Group, Gansu Construction Investment (Holdings) Group, Baiyin Nonferrous Group, and Lanzhou New Area Commercial and Trade Logistics Investment Group.

Jinchuan Group showed significant progress, climbing 19 spots to rank 59th. Meanwhile, Gansu Provincial Highway Aviation Tourism Investment Group, Jiugang Group, and Gansu Construction Investment (Holdings) Group secured the 275th, 317th, and 333rd positions, respectively.

These enterprises — primarily involved in advanced manufacturing and modern services — reflect Gansu's ongoing efforts to modernize and strengthen its industrial structure. Innovation has been essential to their high-quality growth. In recent years, Gansu has been consistently working to enhance the role of enterprises in technological innovation, implementing strong sci-tech initiatives to foster new industries, business models, and growth drivers.
