5.2-magnitude quake hits Turkiye -- GFZ

BEIJING -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Turkiye at 1155 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 40.82 degrees north latitude and 27.95 degrees east longitude.
Media reports said the earthquake shook buildings in Turkiye's largest city, Istanbul.
So far, there has been no immediate report of any casualties involved.
