AS Dalio's dance of design


Shanghai Fashion Week kicked off at the Xintiandi Taipinghu Park on October 9. That evening, Chinese brand AS Dalio presented its 2026 Spring/Summer show titled "Second Skin Etude".
The new season draws inspiration from the "symbiosis of rhythm between sports and dancers," exploring the fusion of athleticism and fashion in its designs. Founded in Beijing, AS Dalio takes its name from "stars." As a contemporary creative brand now in its fifth year, AS Dalio adheres to the brand philosophy of being "aesthetically driven, conveying art through exquisite craftsmanship and premium materials." The brand works closely with top material suppliers around the world to consistently produce high-end ready-to-wear collections.
This season continues that pursuit, utilizing luxury brand-grade materials such as 100% silk long-pile velvet, 99% pure fine wool, heavyweight imported Okayama denim, crocodile-patterned lamb leather, and 100-count double-twisted ultra-high-density Xinjiang long-staple cotton. With its strong foundation in materials and an elegant design style, AS Dalio has emerged as a dark horse among China's rapidly rising fashion brands, continually giving a voice to Chinese design.
