Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo unveils new flagship series

Chinese mobile phone makers are strengthening efforts to accelerate the growth of digital products amid the country's call for promoting consumption.
To mark its 30th anniversary, major mobile phone maker, Oppo, has launched its Find X9 series, a flagship product being positioned as a "Travel Photography Must-have Device".
The Government Work Report, delivered at the annual legislative session in Beijing in March, has noted the country "will create a full range of new consumption scenarios to accelerate the growth of digital, green, smart, and other new types of consumption."
Officially launching the Find X9 series on Oct 16, Oppo Chief Product Officer Liu Zuohu said it redefines the mobile imaging experience, in addition to major upgrades in performance and battery life.
Among the series offerings is the Find X9 Pro, which has been dubbed a "most worthy 'camera' to buy within 10,000 yuan ($1,408)," according to Liu.
Liu said that the Find X9 series carries remarkable features in terms of appearance, design and durability, video experience, zoom stability and battery life.
In regard to design and durability, the new series adopts an innovative "Velvet Sand Process," making the glass back cover present a velvet-like metallic luster, industrial analyst Xing Huanhuan said, noting that the camera is the main highlight, as the whole series is equipped with a new Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Quad-Camera Imaging System. The Find X9 Pro goes a step further and initiates an "Image Quality Revolution," she said.
In terms of video experience, the Find X9 series optimizes exposure, zoom stability, and battery life through the LUMO Intelligent Video System, and supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision and 10-bit Log video shooting, Xing said.
Furthermore, in terms of performance and battery life, the whole series is equipped with the Dimensity 9500 flagship chip and the new-generation Oppo Tidal Engine. The series also features debut chip-level Dynamic Frame Tracking Technology, enabling large games to run at full frame rates for up to five hours, according to Xing.
Liu also made sure to note that the Find X9 series has become the official imaging device for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship (S15) venue. During S15, more than 1,000 offline viewing events will be held nationwide, and an e-sports booth will be set up on Chunxi Road in Chengdu between Nov 7 and 9.
