BAK launches ENDURO S+ for commercial, industrial use
BAK Battery has introduced, the ENDURO S+, a new liquid-cooled integrated energy storage cabinet designed for commercial and industrial applications, aiming to meet rising global demand for distributed energy systems.
Commercial and industrial energy storage demand has surged since 2024 as businesses seek to reduce power costs and carbon emissions while improving backup power reliability.
The ENDURO S+ uses BAK's self-developed 314Ah battery cells, offering a 10,000-cycle lifespan, 190Wh/kg energy density, and over 95 percent discharge efficiency, the company said.
Each cabinet provides 261kWh of capacity within a 1.3-square-meter footprint—about 27 percent less space than traditional double-door systems—and supports up to ten parallel units for flexible capacity expansion.
The system includes multi-layer fire protection, intelligent monitoring, and 24/7 remote oversight. It supports both grid-connected and off-grid operation, ensuring continuous power for critical equipment.
Through peak shaving, valley filling, and demand management, users can lower electricity costs and achieve payback in three to four years, with an expected 15-year lifespan.
BAK said the ENDURO S+ underscores its technological capability in the energy storage sector and supports its goal of advancing safe, efficient, and flexible power solutions.
The company plans to further expand into energy storage applications to meet evolving customer needs and contribute to cleaner energy development.
