The 2025 "Discover China Cultural Tour" of Jilin for Diplomats in China program opened on Nov 21 in Changchun, welcoming diplomats from 12 countries, including Croatia, Jordan, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Riding the Changchun sightseeing bus, they moved between historic facades and modern urban scenes while learning how the city has evolved over the past century.

For Croatian Ambassador Dario Mihelin, visiting Jilin for the first time made every view outside the window feel new and vivid. He noted the city's parks, heritage buildings, and energetic pace, calling Changchun a place full of vitality.
At the Former Site Museum of Changchun Film Studio, diplomats explored the birthplace of New China's film industry and traced the milestones that have shaped generations of Chinese cinema.
Jordanian Ambassador Hussam Al Husseini said the exhibition revealed China's dedication to building and preserving its film legacy and left him with a deep impression.
The five-day journey continues as the delegation heads to Jilin city and Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture to experience the province's diverse landscapes and cultural charm.
