Chinese basketball megastar Yao Ming will act as a special guide to introduce the upcoming Shanghai 2010 World Expo on July 5th, the Shanghai-based Oriental Morning Post reported on Wednesday.

Yao Ming has a really busy schedule on that day-besides communicating with kids who have creative ideas about the "better city, better life" campaign and promoting environment protection among the public, the NBA player will also attend the 300-day countdown ceremony for the Expo in the evening.
