Beijing Youth Daily reports Botou Match, a century-old match manufacturer founded in 1912 in North China’s Hebei province, filed for bankruptcy on Thursday. An auction was held on the same day to sell its assets including old equipment. The start of the company marked China's capability to make matches on its own and now its bankruptcy is deemed an end of a match era. |
