Liu Xiang wins gold at Asian Indoor Meet

Chinese Olympic champion Liu Xiang won the 60-meter hurdles gold at the Asian Indoor Track and Field Meet in Tianjin, a city in northern China.

Liu, who won the 110-meter hurdles gold at the Athens Olympics last year, clocked a time of 7.50 seconds. His teammate Shi Dongpeng was second with 7.88.

Liu will be put to the test again tomorrow at the second stop of the National Indoor Track and Field Championship.
