It's not the dog's fault when it has been hurt

A woman in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, was bitten by her precious pet after a taxi struck the dog at a crossing.

She has tried to recover the pet from police, the Information Times reports.

The accident happened when the 30-year-old woman and her two teenage sons were walking the dog and a taxi veered too close and hit the animal.

The traumatized pet bit the fingers of its owner after they tried to comfort the animal. In an attempt to save the mother from being injured, one of her sons tried to push the dog away. The dog bit the boy's wrist. Passers-by and police did precisely the inhumane thing and beat the dog.

The woman asked for her dog back despite her wounds.

One should never touch an injured animal unless it is covered by a blanket or tarp. Animals, even the most tame pets, cannot reason when hurt and will instinctively lash out.
