Shanghai to stop growth first

人口零增長：上海居首

Shanghai will be the first city in China to see zero population growth, in 2015, according to a report Wednesday issued by the China Academy of Sciences. Beijing and Tianjin both will be second, in 2018. The last province to see population stabilization will be Guizhou, in 2029. The report also says China should achieve zero energy consumption growth in 2040 and zero environmental degradation growth in 2050.

中國科學(xué)院28日發(fā)布的一份報告稱，上海將成為中國首先實現(xiàn)人口"零增長"的城市，時間是2015年。北京和天津并列第2位，都將于2018年實現(xiàn)人口"零增長"。貴州將在2029年成為最后一個人口"零增長"的省份。報告還指出，中國應(yīng)該在2040年實現(xiàn)能源消耗速率的"零增長"，在2050年實現(xiàn)生態(tài)環(huán)境退化速率的"零增長"。
