據(jù)報道，在香港電臺日前進行的“2005風云人物大選”中，憑電視劇《大長今》風靡全港的韓國女明星李英愛位居風云女士榜首。據(jù)介紹，《大長今》播映期間，香港市民天天追捧，而長今的發(fā)奮精神給予香港人不少鼓勵及啟示，值得港人學習。
報道中有這樣一句話：Jewel in the Palace, starred by Lee Young-ae, aired on Hong
Kong's TVB from January 24th to May 1st, hitting an all-time high in viewership rates (average rate of 47 percent and a
high of 50 percent) in the history of Hong Kong TV broadcasting.
句中的viewership rate指“收視率”，viewership是“電視觀眾”的總稱，如, a largely male
viewership（大量的男性電視觀眾）。此外，“收視率”常用audience rating表示，因為rating除了“等級、
級別、估價”等常見含義外，還表示“（電臺、電視臺調查后確定的）節(jié)目受歡迎的程度”。
