從大地中“生長(zhǎng)出來(lái)”的建筑

 Scotland's new Parliament sits at the foot of Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile close to the spectacular Holyrood Park. Constructed from a mixture of steel, oak, and granite, the complex building has been hailed as one of the most innovative designs in Britain today.
Drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, the flower paintings by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the upturned boats on the seashore, Enric Miralles, one of the world's premier architects, developed a design that he said was a building "growing out of the land".
The Scottish Parliament building has won several significant architectural awards, including Stirling Prize, Specialist Prize – 'High Quality Urban Design and Landscape Architecture' and Royal Institute of British Architects Award.
蘇格蘭的新議會(huì)大廈坐落于愛(ài)丁堡著名的皇家里底端，緊鄰壯觀(guān)的哈路德公園。整個(gè)復(fù)雜的建筑由鋼鐵、橡木和花崗巖建成，已經(jīng)被譽(yù)為是今天英國(guó)最為創(chuàng)新的設(shè)計(jì)之一。
大廈的設(shè)計(jì)師是Enric Miralles，是世界上最為出色的建筑家之一。他設(shè)計(jì)該座大廈的靈感來(lái)自于周?chē)牡木坝^(guān)，包括由Charles Rennie Mackintosh繪畫(huà)的鮮花和海岸上翻倒的船只。據(jù)他所說(shuō)，他的設(shè)計(jì)理念是將大廈建設(shè)得像由大地中生長(zhǎng)出來(lái)一樣。
蘇格蘭議會(huì)大廈已經(jīng)獲得幾個(gè)重要的建筑學(xué)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，其中包括斯特靈大獎(jiǎng)、優(yōu)質(zhì)都市設(shè)計(jì)與地標(biāo)建筑獎(jiǎng)和英國(guó)皇家建筑師學(xué)會(huì)大獎(jiǎng)。
