7月8日，“海上聯(lián)合—2013”中俄海上聯(lián)合軍事演習(xí)實(shí)兵演習(xí)階段在俄羅斯符拉迪沃斯托克正式拉開(kāi)帷幕。實(shí)兵演習(xí)將歷時(shí)3天，完成11項(xiàng)課目，提升雙方共同應(yīng)對(duì)海上安全威脅的能力。

Chinese and Russian naval forces left Vladivostok on Monday and arrived in the Sea of Japan, where they began the live-fire phase of a joint naval drill called "Joint Sea 2013", the largest-ever Sino-Russian exercise of its kind.

本周一，中俄海軍部隊(duì)離開(kāi)符拉迪沃斯托克抵達(dá)日本海，中俄海上聯(lián)合軍事演習(xí)“海上聯(lián)合—2013”進(jìn)入實(shí)兵演習(xí)階段，這是中俄有史以來(lái)最大規(guī)模的聯(lián)合演習(xí)。

“實(shí)兵演習(xí)”一般稱為live-fire drill, “聯(lián)合軍事演習(xí)”是joint military exercise/drill, 在這里“海上聯(lián)合軍事演習(xí)”就是joint naval drill。 Live-fire phase指的是實(shí)兵演習(xí)階段，phase可指一個(gè)特定的階段，如Now, dealing with a storm like this requires a three-phase approach: preparation, response and recovery.（現(xiàn)在處理這樣的風(fēng)暴需要三個(gè)階段：準(zhǔn)備、應(yīng)對(duì)和恢復(fù)。）

這次海上演習(xí)出動(dòng)的有包括destroyer（驅(qū)逐艦,）、frigate（護(hù)衛(wèi)艦）、cruiser（巡洋艦）在內(nèi)的各類(lèi)warship（軍艦）和supply ship（補(bǔ)給艦）。這次演習(xí)需要完成的課目包括anti-submarine operation（反潛行動(dòng)），anti-ship operation（反艦行動(dòng)）， maritime air defense（海上防空），escort drills（護(hù)航演習(xí)），marine search（海上搜索），以及rescue operations（解救被挾持船舶行動(dòng)）等。
