A new Boeing 747 aircraft arrived at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport and began practice drills at 1:50pm on August 19. The aircraft was the first to arrive at the new airport. This Boeing 747-400 is a long-range wide-body jet. Able to reach an elevation of 13,400 kilometers, the plane is well suited for intercontinental transport flights.
The largest aircraft Hefei Luogang Airport can accommodate is the Boeing 727-200. The official opening of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport now makes it possible for B747-400s to come to Hefei.
After 8 hours of tests at Xinqiao Airport, the plane flew back to Pudong Airport.
