Abstract:
Enterprise transformation is fundamental to economic development transformation, so this report summarizes models of China's enterprise transformation and development based on field research at several hundred enterprises in 10 provinces, and questionnaires for 887 companies on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. It finds that, since 2007, some of China's better SMEs have made progress in research and innovation, added value, brand management, the industrial chain, international and domestic market development, market transformation, management transformation, improving management, and cutting energy use and emissions.
