The Competition for Colorful Guizhou Tourism Product Original & Craftsman Exhibition will be held in Guiyang from November 15 to 17.
Public officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from 40 countries and regions, including Russia, the US and Germany, will attend the event. Various activities, such as an Arts and Crafts Forum, Arts and Crafts Trading Fair and Cultural Industry Forum, are also worth exploring.
The highlight of the whole event is the craftsman contest where audiences can watch fabricating techniques on site.
The event is part of Guizhou's tourism promotion plan. In 2012 alone, Guizhou's tourism commodity revenue reached 36 billion yuan ($5.87 billion). The industry helped employ 1.5 million people.
