Qingdao Art Museum, together with nine national key academies of fine art, will hold an art exhibition displaying excellent work from 2012 graduates from Jan 20 to Feb 25.

The exhibition will present 89 works from outstanding graduates from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, Guanzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of Art & Design in Tsinghua University. The works will cover various fields such as Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture and costume design. It will be an overall show presenting China’s higher education in fine arts.

Qingdao Art Museum and the Qingdao Teaching and Research Office of General Education will jointly hold a meeting on Sunday afternoon (Jan 20), when several academy presidents will communicate with teachers and students in Qingdao, sharing teaching, curriculum and faculty experiences.
