The city of Qingdao, Shandong province sent a delegation of 13 district and local enterprise officials, headed by its assistant secretary-general, Zhang Jun, to the 4th Mitsubishi Corp Cooperation Seminar, on Dec 11 in Jinan, the provincial capital, where they were able to engage in innovation, energy-saving and urbanization discussions.

Xia Geng, provincial vice-governor, and Matsui Toshikazu, CEO of Mitsubishi Corp's East Asian branch, were on hand for the seminar and both addressed the gathering, which attracted a large number of officials and representatives from the provincial government and Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi is Japan's fastest-growing auto exporter, and is following in the steps of Toyota and Nissan in sales to China, as economic growth boosts vehicle demand.
