No 2 Ski Resort of the Culai Mountain

Skiing is one of the most popular winter sports. Covering an area of 100,000 square meters, the Culai Mountain ski resort is the largest outdoor ski field in Tai'an, with a total investment of 20 million yuan ($3.13 million).

The ski resort is only 10 kilometers away from the downtown area. Its highest attitude is 200 meters, with a vertical drop of about 100 meters. It enjoys a snow period of about 150 days.

Currently, four ski runs are in service at the resort – two for beginners, one for intermediate learners and one for advanced skiers.

A festival is now in full swing at the resort in which lots of competitions and cultural activities are set to take place.
