A Japanese restaurant claims to have solved the dilemma of dining alone by offering customers the chance to eat with stuffed animals, foreign media reported. The Moomin Café in Tokyo offers solo diners the company of a fictional Moomin animal while they eat. Popular in the 90s, the hippo-like creature was a character in a series of Finnish cartoons, whose skills as a dinner guest have proved so popular that the café has gained a popular Internet following, with many visitors uploading pictures of their dining experience on social media.(See photo)
