Bali beach games expects more money

JAKARTA -- The Asian Beach Games (ABG) to be held in Bali, Indonesia, needs more money for preparation work, Indonesian Sports Committee (KONI) Chairperson Rita Subowo said Saturday.

"Although more partners have joined, we still need more funds for the games," the official said.

Some more foreign and local companies, such as Samsung Electronics of Korea and Lak of China, have joined their hands in providing sponsorship for the games, Subowo said.

Subowo said the event required 800 billion rupiahs (US $90 million dollars) in total.
