Xi calls for new areas in China-Indonesia cooperation

BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping said Monday that China and Indonesia should seize the new industries and models created by the COVID-19 pandemic and open up new cooperation areas to boost their respective development and give impetus to the regional and global economy.
Xi made the remarks in a phone conversation in the night with his Indonesian counterpart, Joko Widodo.
