British scholar praises China's integration of tech, creativity, and heritage

The third Liangzhu Forum was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Saturday and Sunday, with the theme "Revitalization of Civilization: Cultural Heritage and Human Culture Diversity".
Tim Winter, a British sociologist who is also a senior fellow at the Asia Research Institute of National University of Singapore, told the China Daily Website that every time he?has?visited China, he?has been?impressed by?"China speed". He said it is especially evident in Zhejiang province, where the integration of technology, creativity and heritage, is held in high regard.
As Winter noted, heritage is?a fast-changing concept entwined with environmental issues, the climate crisis?and geopolitics, making?Liangzhu Forum significant as it builds an international platform for civilizational exchange and shows China's commitment to engaging with other countries to tackle the?big challenges concerning heritage conservation.
