5.5-magnitude quake jolts Hunchun, NE China's Jilin province

BEIJING -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Hunchun in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, Northeast China's Jilin province, at 7:45 pm Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 43.08 degrees north latitude and 131.10 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 560 km, the CENC said.
