China's top court highlighted four landmark cases on Wednesday, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the healthy development of children facing hardships due to incidents.

These cases involve minors who either lost family members or suffered injuries themselves, necessitating financial support for medical treatment and welfare, according to the Supreme People's Court.

The top court stressed the need to help these minors, "as their healthy growth is crucial to the happiness of countless families, social stability and the future of the nation."

In addition to providing financial assistance, the top court also encouraged enhanced collaboration between local courts and various organizations, including women's federations, community committees and educational institutions, to offer comprehensive care for young people and create a healthier environment for their growth.

Additionally, the top court emphasized that courts at all levels should continuously focus on the mental health of minors who have been harmed and strengthen the management and oversight of judicial assistance funds for children who have lost their parents.

Judicial assistance, a form of supplementary financial relief, is provided by the country to help individuals in urgent need due to case-related hardships and are unable to obtain adequate compensation through litigation.
